One of the many things I love about my job is that it's always different. Here are a few variations on a bar sign theme.
Tropical leaves
I'm feeling grateful today that I live in beautiful Haiku (the rainy/jungle side of the island). I'm surrounded by lush greens and tropical leaves as far as the eye can see. It makes it easy to create signage and place settings that are very much in fashion this year.
Coffee shop signs
Weddings are my usual obsession, but once in awhile I get to create custom signs with a different subject matter. When Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel in Wailea asked me to make signs for their coffee shop, Cafe Ciao, I was happy to oblige.....The first photo is the "before" shot....

Hand Painted Aisle Runner
We are now offering hand painted aisle runners. The perfect way to add your monogram and special touch to your ceremony. This photo was taken at the lovely Haiku Mill in Maui for the vow renewal of Kiss's Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon.
The Illustrated Timeline
This was one of my favorite projects of the year! An illustration timeline of a couple's relationship.....how they met, first date, when they moved in together....After the wedding they took it with them on the plane, and it is hanging in their home. Just makes me happy.
A Bohemian Holiday Shoot
This styled holiday shoot was one of my favorites. Opihi Love Boutique Rentals & Event Design teamed up with Tamiz Photography to create a bohemian bridal shoot inspired by the rich colors and textures of the winter holiday season. Pacific Cancer Foundation's Annual Holiday Gala
Hope everyone is recovering from the holiday rush! I wanted to share a few of my calligraphy pieces from the recent charity event for the Pacific Cancer Foundation's Annual Holiday Gala at the Yokouchi Estate, Wailuku, Maui. Working in large format like this is one of my favorite things to do! My calligraphy appears on the 7' chalkboard and the 7' mirror at the entryway. The quote from Maya Angelou reads "I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver." The talented and super sweet Mandy Grace of Bella Grace Flowers and Jessica Guard McLellan of Island Flipbooks were the designers for this event. Photography by Joanna Tano.
